I have had the luxury of owning two schoolmasters in the last 10 years. When I trained with Laurie Falvo Doyle many years ago in San Juan Capistrano and it was time for me to look for a new horse, she mentioned to me about getting a schoolmaster. It was the best advice I have ever gotten. I have learned so much from them, it seems I would never buy anything but.
I was very lucky to have trainers that allowed me to ride on their schoolmasters to learn dressage. It was such a rewarding experience that I made a promise to myself when I owned a schoolmaster, that I would share with my friends. I have done that for the last 10 years and will continue to share for the rest of my riding days!
